ROB HOFMANN JD MBA MST

Mr. Hofmann routinely advises clients on the structuring, negotiation, documentation, and implementation of a wide range of complex business, real estate, construction, and land use transactions, including commercial leases, intricate real and personal property acquisitions and dispositions, commercial and residential development projects (including the drafting and negotiation of prime/general and subcontractor agreements), commercial loan and lease workouts, specialized land use entitlements and permitting (e.g., conditional use permits) and licensing (e.g., Alcoholic Beverage Control ("ABC")) matters, and property tax and tax exemption appeals. Mr. Hofmann counsels clients on a broad array of business entity formation and business restructuring issues, corporate governance and operations (private and nonprofit), and various business permitting and regulatory compliance matters and appeals. Mr. Hofmann assists clients with employment compliance issues and he represents employers before administrative agencies, including the California Unemployment Insurance Appeals Board, the California Alcoholic Beverage Control Appeals Board, the California Labor Commissioner (DLSE), and the Department of Fair Employment and Housing.
